After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Morgan Mannen passed last Friday afternoon. Mr. Mannen worked for Comanche Public Schools for 55 years. For the last several years, he was required to stay isolated because his autoimmune system was compromised by chemotherapy. However, he continued to serve as district technology director and was at school most evenings and weekends checking on any issues that needed his attention. He also worked on the district's E-Rate funding, Indian Education programs, and grant writing. His expertise and knowledge will be greatly missed in all these areas. He was an irreplaceable wealth of knowledge and an asset to our district. Please keep his family and friends in your prayers.
The district will release classes at 1:30 on Monday so staff members can attend the service.
