Let’s give an Indian welcome to Coach White our new varsity softball coach! Jennifer White was born and raised in Tuttle, Oklahoma. She played softball and basketball She attended and earned a Bachelor's degree at Florida State University in Social Sciences education. Jennifer started coaching immediately after graduation at the University of Minnesota. She has also coached at University of North Texas, USAO, Tuttle Schools, Mustang and Newcastle. Currently Coach White owns her own construction company and runs all the day to day operations. Her greatest accomplishments are her 4 children. Let’s give an Indian welcome to Mrs. Combs, our new Pre-K teacher. Mrs. Jennifer Combs said," I am thrilled to be teaching Pre-K at Comanche Public Schools!" She completed her student teaching practicum at Comanche and have taught both Pre-K and Kindergarten for the district as well. Teaching Littles is her passion and she could not be more excited to be back ‘home' doing what she loves! She said,"I am looking forward to a great year!" Jennifer grew up nearby, in the small town of Central High, in a home of educators. Her dad was an administrator and her mom was a Kindergarten teacher. From a young age, she learned firsthand the impact educators have on the lives of their students. She said, " It is definitely something special, a privilege and responsibility that should not be taken lightly." After graduating from high school, she furthered her education at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. There she graduated with honors, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. Shortly after graduation, she obtained my Early Childhood Certification. Jennifer is happily married to her husband, Chad (a Comanche alumni), for 21 years. They have been blessed with two amazing kids, Brooke and Dylan. Although teaching is her passion, being a wife and mom are her greatest joys. She stated," You will likely see us supporting the Indians at various activities throughout the year... GO COMANCHE!"
