‼️‼️Please read and share‼️‼️ Dear Parents & Students, The Comanche Technology Department has sent out an email to families that will contain a link to sign the annual Technology Handbook and the annual Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). These documents will be sent in an email from a “NoReply@1to1plus.com” In order for any student to check out a technology device from the Comanche Public Schools Technology Dept. they must have both of these documents on file. We ask that you read over each of the documents as some of the terms have changed. Once you have completed reading each document you will find a box at the bottom to check indicating you have read and accept the terms of the handbook and AUP policy. After checking the box a parent and student must sign digitally and submit. Please make sure to check the box(es) before signing and submitting. If you have any questions please call the CPS Technology Department. Thank you for your help with this matter

Let’s give an Indian welcome to Mr. Steve Austin as a new hire to our staff! Steve just moved here from NY, where he has been working in TV, film and stage for the past 7 years.He spent the past spring and summer working with DLT on their musical Addams Family as the Assistant Director and fight choreographer, the Shakepeare in the Park as a fight choreographer, and the Raise the Roof Fundraiser. Before here Steve lived in GA, and FL, where he was raised. Steve got his BA in Theatre Performance and Master's in English Education from USF in Tampa. Outside the classroom you can find him at the gym, cheering on my Bucs and Rays, or watching movies! He is looking forward to my first year at my mother's alma mater! Let’s give an Indian welcome to Ms. Breena Lijewski as a new hire to our staff! Breena grew up in Guthrie, Oklahoma, and then graduated from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma with a degree in Environmental Science and Biology Education. She spent her past three summers as part of a permafrost research team in Alaska. This will be her second year as a teacher and she am especially excited to work with the students doing hands-on science in the labs! A few years ago She earned my masters in education with a concentration in special education. In her free time Mrs. Sission love reading, walking my dog Ruby, and working out.. Let’s give an Indian welcome to Mrs. Lindy Arrington as a new hire to our staff! She is a 2003 graduate of Comanche High School. After graduation Lindy attended Cameron University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. In 2008, she accepted my first teaching position at Walters Elementary School. While there she taught 4th, Title I Math and Reading, and 5th grade. In 2012, Lindy accepted a position at Comanche Elementary. She taught 4th grade from 2012-2017. Since 2017, she have been a stay at home mom and helped her husband run his business. Lindy is married to Brandon Arrington. They have three children together; Ella (would be 10), EvieDale (8), and Truett (1). We are so excited to welcome Mrs. Arrington to our Indian Family! #CPS #comancheok #WeAreOne

Exciting news! We just found out we received the National FFA Grants for Growing. Grants for Growing (G4G) is a competitive grant program for middle and high school FFA chapters that are developing and improving project-based or experiential learning opportunities for students. This grant was sponsored by Tractor Supply Co. (TSC). Comanche FFA will be using grant funds to invest in plasticulture equipment for the community garden.

Being from the panhandle God, Family, community, and sports play major roles in his life. He will be the Offensive Coordinator and secondary coach this season. He retired as Texas Teacher-Coach for 32 years. He and his wife of 34 years live in Iowa Park, Tx. They have 2 grown Sons. Colson, 27 manages a Pluckers Restaurant in Dallas. Cirby, 22 is a Senior at Abilene Christian University and plays Linebacker on football team. This is his 4th year working in Oklahoma. He did the previous 2 years at Walters.
