Baylee Hefner was born and raised in Walters, OK. She attended and graduated from Oklahoma City Community College with an Associate’s degree in Applied Science. Baylee will be starting her 3rd year as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. Baylee is married to Charles Hefner who teaches and coaches in the Middle School. Baylee’s greatest accomplishment is her 6-year old son.

With the help of Duncan Regional Hospital and with the direction of our Sports Trainer LB we will be offering sports physicals May 14 in the gym. We will be working with each building to get their students in to get their physicals. The doctors will also stay after school for anyone we don’t get too earlier in the day. The cost is $10. Students will need to bring the physical form signed and filled out with them the day of the physicals.
We will release more details shortly.

As of March 2024, 502,221 Oklahoma children were enrolled in SoonerCare, just over half the estimated number of children living in the state. Additionally, the state estimates that about seven percent, or 70,000 Oklahoma children, are not enrolled in insurance, and more than half of those, or about 35,000, would likely qualify for SoonerCare coverage.
